Assorted old stuff (about)
2 nanoseconds after this shot a dove appeared magically from behind Dad's hat. Talk about missing a shot! Dad and the leaves are colourful nonetheless. I think this is Sarah's third birthday, but then I'm just counting candles. Georgia bride and beau.

Just looking at this picture makes me want to go to the cottage and read! Mom (without the glasses). From teacher's college days? Have you ever seen so many people smiling at one time? The luminous child is Ted Eric Dettweiler.

About: I nabbed these from an envelope in a box in the storage closet at mom & dad's this past weekend.  Mom:  your original photos are already returning in the mail (you didn't even miss them, did you?)

If the smiles above on Marlene, Steve and Karen look fake, well maybe I created them in my photo editor!  I was authentically happy to be alive and I think that's the real deal smile on dad, too!
Three Northern belles at a Decatur, Georgia wedding Ted conquers Montréal (1986?)
My dad didn't always have white hair and he sure was handsome with dark hair! Taken long before I learned how to ruin a picture with a silly grin This is my favourite picture of my older brother and sisters.
