"Beauty"
"Beauty is the most affectionate cat I've ever owned...and I've had many. I truly believe my Balinese (long haired siamese) is by far one of the sexiest cats I've ever seen.
"I rescued Beauty from a very stressfull household about two years ago. She had been living among four other cats, two dogs and three children. She was very underweight and extremely shy. Her owner at the time claimed that she had to get rid of all of her cats due to allergies.
"I was fortunate enough that Beauty was the last cat to be given out because she usually stayed hidden. They even kept a bell on her because they could never find her. She was extremely nerveous and very underweight. When we brought her to the vets they informed us that she had really bad ear mites and that she was dehydrated. They gave her an injection to help with dehydration and drops for her ears. When we brought her home she was desperate to find any place where she could hide.
"We gave her a few days to explore her new surroundings and then decided that we didn't want a shy cat. We closed all the doors in our apartment and blocked off the bottom of the couch with cardboard so that she couldn't hide behind or under it. She had no place to hide and we showered her with affection. Before long she became the most beautiful pet.
"She follows either my fiancee or myself around the apartment like a little puppy dog. She waits by the door if she knows my fiancee will be home soon. When he walks in...she'll run up to him crying. If he doesn't give her attention right away she'll go up behind him on the couch or his chair and put her paw on his shoulder and moew right in his ear until he acknowledges her. When bedtime comes around she lets us know she wants to cuddle up in bed by going back and forth between us and the bedroom crying.
"She's extremely intelligent and has to be the single most affectionate cat I've ever seen let alone owned. She rubs her face up against ours when she's really feeling sucky. It's almost like having a puppy only she's much more vocal. I can almost have a whole conversation with her. It's funny because before we met Beauty...my fiancee hated cats. I guess he was more of a dog person because he liked animals that you could relate to and interact with. When he seen Beauty for the first time...he fell in love. She stayed glued to him all the way home. She just sat in his lap and purred. Personally it just didn't seem fair that she would fall in love with him right away when I was the one who wanted a cat in the first place...but that's life I guess.
"So now she's very much a part of our family...even when we go away for a day or two we miss her terribly. Every person that has met our cat agrees that she is one of the most affectionate and gorgeous cats that they have met.
"I hope after hearing our little story and seeing pictures of our Beauty that you agree...she has to be one of the sexiest cats out there. Her previous owner told us that she was siamese...but after some research I've discovered that she is a purebred Balinese and she is one of the most attractive ones I've seen. Looking forward to some feedback! :)"

Don't worry Melanie. We agree completely. She is one of the sexiest cats out there ... clearly ErotiCat Award material. We are also touched by your wonderful story. Any cute little cat that turns a dog lover around is one special feline. Also, good approach at the beginning. Excellent way to make a cat come around. Thanks again for the great pix, Melanie.
