Bingo games consist of 30 different playing cards, one for each student, and a package of 25 flashcards. There is no writing on any of the cards and thus can be shared by all second language teachers. Each student gets a playing card and the one student at the front chooses a flashcard. Without showing the card, he/she says the sentence that describes the card. (in the second language) Students at their seats look for the correct image and if it's on their card, they cover it. The student with a line covered call out BINGO and must repeat the complete sentence that describes the covered images. If correct, this student becomes the next caller. Each Set $15.00
Available themes; food, clothing, jobs, sports, transportation, verbs, body parts. All the themes are in the curriculum of all French programs. Language teachers adore this game because it gives the students the opportunity to use the new language.. There is no stress and they want to win, which means they listen and want to repeat the correct sentence when they call out BINGO. The magic of this BINGO over others is that it demands “whole sentences”. Speaking a language is speaking in sentences and not in single words. Games make learning FUN !!!
