George the II half penny circca 1729 too 1739. My Oldest coin todate. Found at a local park (Toronto) in an area I always avoided be cause of a newly installed manhole. Just goes to show

1844 Bank of Montreal half penny token. Probbaly my favorite because it is in such great shape. When I found this coin the fellow I was hunting with asked me to put it back in the hole to see if his machine could read it. You guessed it when we were leaving I could find the coin. Yup I covered it over in the hole I found it. Was a pleasure to dig it up twice. |

1787 Conneticuit Copper
I made a trip to Harford Conneticut to find this coin but all I got ther where thin copper disks with nothing readable on them. I found this coin in Toronto about a week after my Hartford trip

War of 1812 Button I think. Well I have seen buttons just like this one only they had a number where the crown is on this button. The number was for the regiment that the button was from. I am assuming because of being similar that this is also from the war of 1812. There is nothing on the back side. |
