georgeII

George the II half penny circca 1729 too 1739.

My Oldest coin todate. Found at a local park (Toronto) in an area I always avoided be cause of a newly installed manhole. Just goes to show

1844 token

1844 Bank of Montreal half penny token.

Probbaly  my favorite because it is in such great shape. When I found this coin the fellow I was hunting with asked me to put it back in the hole to see if his machine could read it. You guessed it when we were leaving I could find the coin. Yup I covered it over in the hole I found it. Was a pleasure to dig it up twice.

1787

1787 Conneticuit Copper

I made a trip to Harford Conneticut to find this coin but all I got ther where thin copper disks with nothing readable on them. I found this coin in Toronto about a week after my Hartford trip

1812 Button

War of 1812 Button I think.

Well I have seen buttons just like this one only they had a number where the crown is on this button. The number was for the regiment that the button was from. I am assuming because of being similar that this is also from the war of 1812.

There is nothing on the back side.

Canadian Milita Button

Don't know much about this guy yet, just that it is in real good shape.

The back reads

" FIRMIN&SONS+LONDON+"
