Here are my Canadian 1 cent coin finds for 2000. If I can get more web space I will show close up of the coins at a later date. Now I did allot of huntig in 2000 and do not expect these kind of returns for 2001, but maybe what I have learned in the first year of land hunting will help me fill the goodie pouch with the reduced hunting time I will have.

The last two coins are in very poor condition. The 1884 has a hole in it and the 1859 is badly pitted. In General the Vic pennies were almost always in good to very good condition.

Of all the Edward Pennis that I found only the three marked with a red star of any quality and that is lowering the over all bench mark as well

More George's

The Georges suffer as badly as the Edwards. Below is a closer scan of the yellow boxed coins to show the quality.

This is my large Canadian cent finds for 2000. The large cents are a favorite find for me. On the Explorer they come in in the upper right hand corner of the smart screen but have a much rounder tone that is not as high as silver. They sound is also not as sharp as with newer small pennies. I will post some screen shots of the location on the grid soon.
Stay tuned for the small cent finds.
