I first heard of Laridian, the maker of this wonderful software through a written interview with a missionary in Africa who used their NIV software.  At the Laridian site I read the Christian Computing Magazine article on the company and their Bible software and took advantage of the 25% discount by quoting the code found at the bottom of the pdf version of the CCM article.  Now I am a "Laridian associate" and I stand  to gain a couple US $ if you use this referral link (and by all means use the discount code:  CCM1000 as well).  Here is the link that will earn me my referral dollars if you buy:

I am finding that I use the search function a lot as it is very well designed - better than any concordance!  Also, bookmarks are handy.   Even without bookmarking, when our pastor refers to a verse in II  Chronicles and then goes back to his main text in Luke the software will return me to the last reference in Luke that I had open.  I purchased a small black case for my Palm so that I will not cause the weaker brethren to stumble thinking that I am playing games in church.

Now, when I go biking, riding the metro or wherever I am, I can always have the Word of God with me.  Palm pages
