Here are the words to one of my favourite camp songs (sing while cooking up the dish) Jambalaya (On the Bayou) - Hank Williams Good-bye Joe, me gotta go, me oh my oh. (chorus) Thibadaux, Fontainequx**, the place is buzzin chorus Settle down far from town, get me a pirogue |
|
Notes: *pirogue = canoe **Fontainequx - I assume this is a place name. Thibodaux is the name of a town in Cajun country. Thibadaux is also a common Cajun family name, so Fontainequx could be the same ie. a list of who's making the place buzz. +mon = money? |
