Directions for sterilizing your calculator:
The purpose of this is to prevent the spread of cold and flu virus by wiping down all parts of the calculator that you touched.
- At the end of the class, hold the calculator in one hand (BY THE SIDES ONLY) with the keyboard facing down. Wipe the whole back surface.
- Wipe an area on your desk, large enough for the calculator to fit. Place the calculator with the KEYBOARD UP in this sterilized area.
- Wipe the keyboard very carefully while holding the SIDES ONLY. Do the screen only if you touched it.
- Hold the calculator from sliding by placing a finger on the bottom end, wipe the sides toward that end.
- While holding the end, slide the lid onto the calculator and wipe down the top. Only do the bottom of the lid if you touched it.
- Wipe down the tips of your thumb and fingers then pick up the calculator using the sterilized finger tips. Wipe down the end of the calculator that was used for holding. Return the calculator to its proper storage location.
