Peggy's Cove - Nova Scotia
Peggy's Cove came to unfortunate
notice as the town closest to the site of the Swissair crash. This village
of 60-odd people really went the distance for those people and their
families. That's just how it is there, though. Nice place, great
people.
This is one of the most photographed
lighthouses in the world. I was lucky to get this shot. The fog
burned off half an hour later and it wouldn't have looked quite so
interesting. Highway 3 in Nova Scotia goes through all sorts of beautiful
little towns. Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and Mahone Bay are among my
favourites.
