Corvairs are often noted as having rust "in all the usual Corvair places". It is interesting to see here that most of these "usual places" are precisely where the snow has packed in this picture.
I have a Corvair ad that boasts of rust protection around the wheel wells. Seems a little suspect. Of course, no car can stand up to it for long without some serious outside help.
